2016 Texas Shootout Tournament

Jason's play in the 2016 Texas Shootout Tournament.

The Mallards team finished 2nd (of 14 teams), losing in the championship game to the Dallas Penguins. The team was ranked 4th going into the playoff round, and defeated the #1 ranked Houston Wild to advance to the championship game.

Jason led the 'U14 A' division with 8 goals in the tournament.

Jason is #6, playing for the Bantam Pond Hockey Club Mallards.

These games were played at the Dr. Pepper Star Center in Farmers Branch, TX.
The first two games were filmed from an upstairs viewing area, so have no audio.

This is the winning goal scored in the Championship Semi-Final (vs the Houston Wild). The Mallards were down 3-0 at the end of the first period, then scored two goals late in the second period. The tying goal was scored with 5:34 left in the game. Jason secured the win with this incredible goal.
